the 17 Year Cicada
Every 17 years, a certain species of cicada comes out of hibernation by the millions. I went hiking a little part of the Appalachian trail, and they were everywhere, and super loud! It sounded something like this...
I took some video of the spectacle while I was on the trail. At the end of the video a cicada landed on my head and I started freaking out...

Academia Nuts
My sister graduated from college this past Friday, and I was pretty impressed by the academic regalia of the ceremony. While we were there, my dad coined the term 'Academia nuts', so I went ahead and drew some.
